don't recommend very old Scala version #636

2.13.1 is really old and may have compatibility problems with current JDKs and lord knows what else

this came up today on Discord in #scala-users

maybe 3.4.2 should actually be the default suggestion, and the comment should offer Scala 2 as an alternative? instead of the reverse, as currently?
