IDK, what you say may be true but tldr;
We need one of those semi-humorous cartoon flow charts. "Does it work in dotty? ==> OK file it." The other branch would be "OK file it at dotty."
this is way to much to ask in an issue and is certainly not a bug.
said the Big Oh on a ticket but put it on backlog anyway. I think that is more confusing for users than just quashing it. (I also think the ring around of the rosy of feature requests and discussions was also confusing, where confusing means dispiriting or off-putting.)

I thought about saying something about the "fixed in Scala 3" label, but at some point the benefit of including more information no longer exceeds the TL;DR factor where the more you say, the less likely any of it will be read
