Challenge 19 Explored GitHub Codespaces! I found it really easier as compared to local Git. It allows to code and build in an online environment, making it easier to collaborate on projects and work from anywhere.

Challenge 20

Github actions are a great tool for atomizing work and testing for errors in the codebase. It allows you to automate various tasks, and one common use case is running code linting checks on your codebase.

Here's a summary of what I learned:

  1. Choose the Right Project: Select a project that aligns with your interests and skills.

  2. Understand the Project: Familiarize yourself with project goals, guidelines, and existing issues.

  3. Start Small: Begin with small tasks to get used to the project's workflow.

  4. Issue Creation: Clearly describe problems or feature requests, following project guidelines.

  5. Branch and Fork: Fork the repository, clone it locally, and create a descriptive branch.

  6. Code Changes: Make changes following coding standards and guidelines.

  7. Testing: Ensure your changes are well-tested, and run existing project tests.

  8. Documentation: Update or create documentation as needed.

  9. Pull Request (PR) Creation: Create a PR with a clear title and description, referencing related issues.

  10. Community Interaction: Be respectful and join project communication channels.

  11. Licensing: Ensure your contributions comply with project licensing.

  12. Continuous Contribution: Stay involved and contribute over time.

  13. Follow Up: After PR merge, consider addressing related issues and helping with other tasks.

Challenge 25

I've started exploring open source projects at https://goodfirstissue.dev/, but currently I haven't found any good issues to work on yet. I've made a list of possible projects, and I'm actively looking for suitable issues to work on.
