I am running from the SD card. I have had the same issue with other emulators
and stuff but I think the problem with those may have been fixed already. It
happens usually when I first start the program. Also, some of the streams
won't load or take a long time to load too.

Getting the same problem over here. The instant I start up wiiradio (verison
.6) It starts while the application is loading. Right after "intializing
network and loading skins".

The application finishes loading up and appears to be working but the only
noise that can be heard is the high pitched squeal/buzzing sound. The instant I
quit the application the buzzing noise stops.

hi raider does the noise go away if you start playing a stream?

Wondering if system version is to blame the last official release was a while
back and the system has had several updates since.

Unfortunately it doesn't go away when i start a stream. When i first installed
wiiradio it worked beautifully. I quit the application, but when i tried to
load up wiiradio after that first time the buzzing noise starts.

I just tried out wiiradio again and the buzzing noise appears to have gone
away. Perhaps its just a intermittent issue?

When i first installed wiiradio two days ago I could close and reopen the
application repeatedly and the buzzing noise would still happen. Not sure how
its working now.

P.S. How do you pause a stream with this amazing application? I cant figure it
out for the life of me other then going back to the stream and clicking on it
again like i would like to start listening. Is there a wiimote button that
pauses the stream?

Glad it works for you know. There's really no way to pause a stream as it's
live. You could always press the minus button to mute it.

I should be putting out a new version in the next few weeks with a bunch of new
features, you should be able to stop a stream with it.

Not sure what that buzzing was, I've never had that happen before. I can't
think of anything in the current version that would cause it. We are adding an
option to auto play a stream on startup which possibly could cause that buzz
but it's not in version 0.6.

If anyone else could add details to this I'd appreciate it. I'll accept this
as an issue for now.

Thanks again!

Stopping a stream would be something nice to be able to do. The hearable effect
is the same, but it safes bandwidth. I can clearly see a running wiiradio
affecting the quality of skype video conferences for instance.

A stop option is now in version 0.7. Also the audio being redone will probably
fix this original issue.
