as of now, this issue is fixed in SVN (revision 92). we found a new heuristic
that more robustly provides the event id than grepping for device name as we
were before.
can somebody please confirm it works. :)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. logkeys --start --device=event2
2.
3.
What is the expected output? To log ;-)
What do you see instead?
Without --device : an error, with --device with the good device : empty log
file..
Le device is event2.
