We'd have to wait to release until 2015 - it'd be the 10 year anniversary of the idea. Fn teamsnap.com.

Teamsnap is pretty sweet. Looks like they've been busy. $80 just to track stats? no thx

bluefields looks sweet, and they obviously have great design/ux chops, but they don't track stats. Teamer is cool, but seems to focus primarily on attendance/communication

I think mobile-first, social by nature (not through "post to FB", but being built on top), and free w/ stat tracking is still a killer combination.

At the very least, with it's architecture, it'll be a hell of a repository to put on a resume.

It was time... The chances of prioritizing working on the idea faded faster than my physical ability to play sports anymore. On to the next idea

i blame it on the scope of the issue - too big. only thing holding this back from its inception in...2006? btw - i'm looking into redoing the hockey league's site in SF. The solutions still suck. Most don't even have APIs.
