During the BCI unConference today, Pierre Clisson gave a presentation on Timeflux.io. At the end, in future work, he mentioned that he thinks SPoT, a clock synchronization approach for IoT, might be better than NTP used in LSL. For those of you who are used to looking at these kinds of things, here is its paper.
I don't know how long the talk will stay online, but for now you can watch it here. Pierre Clisson's section starts at starts at 1:25:45.
If you watch all the way to the end, you can see that I asked him about data formats. I didn't ask explicitly about XDF, but he brought it up, unable to remember the name, and said that he didn't like it because it depended on XML. 🤷 Of all the reasons to not like XDF, that one surprised me.
