Minor bugfixes in pop_roi_connectplot
Adjusted some docstrings to keep consistency
Some warnings
Fixed GUI bugs reported in #52 and #54
Started adding statistics (not done yet)
Fixed bug in snippet analysis reported in #53

@arnodelorme I fixed the bugs reported in #52 and #54. There are some additional minor changes in this request but the GUI bugfix is quite important. Could you please review the pull request?
