MIM computation is faster now, replaced /libs/haufe/roi_mim2.m with the new /utils/roi_mim2_v2.m script that uses matrix and tensor multiplications to avoid the explicit for-loop over frequencies (there is one for-loop over sqrtm left though)
For the shuffling (MIM, MIC, cCOH, iCOH, aCOH, CS, wPLI statistics), we now have a parfor loop in shuffle_MIM which sped up the process immensely. I hope it's cleanly written. The function now accepts a poolsize parameter to specify the number of workers. We can think of renaming the function since it's not exclusive to MIM anymore.
I will now look at the WELCH function in roi_activity to make that one faster as well. I stumbled into this issue myself yesterday and it's a huge pain I would like to get rid of. It would be nice to add a GUI for the statistics part at some point.
