1.0 Release #217

As discussed in #216 our next release will be 1.0. @scelis anything additional you want to have included in the release? What needs to be done for the release? Anything you want my support with?

Looking through the issues and PRs I don't think we need anything else. Maybe just a couple days of quiet to make sure nothing else comes up. :)
