It's on my list to work on this from the framework side. At the moment, implementing Disposable won't work as desired, but shouldn't be too bad to make it do so.

Unfortunately links into gitter have broken now 😭

@kephale A while back, when we switched to Zulip, I dumped the complete gitter histories of all our projects, IIRC including sciview and scenery. I have been planning to put them online somewhere, but never got around to it. Probably the dumped histories have the hash anchors embedded, but I need to check. I don't think I have the dumped data with me while I'm traveling, but I put a reminder in my to-do list to check once I'm back home.
