Would love to see sample that work with schema registry, especially across different schema version change.

@bwgjoseph Is this the Confluent schema registry? Also, for which project? Spring for Apache Kafka or Spring Cloud Stream?

I'm not into the Confluent ecosystem. So maybe Apicurio Registry might be a great alternative? Do you have any other suggestion? Is there a difference in terms of usage / setup between the two? Maybe Spring for Apache Kafka first?
