the pdf looks awful - make it look professional

Better use http://asciidoctor.org/ instead of plain asciidoc.

Use https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-pdf instead of FOP. FOP is outdated, not maintained and full of strange bugs.

Just hints, but we are using asciidoctor for daily work and it works good.
