Howdy.. it looks like this project has been handed off to a new maintainer, and the primary web page moved to http://hg-git.github.com/ . That page says that the canonical source code is in an HG repo at http://bitbucket.org/durin42/hg-git , and this github repo (https://github.com/schacon/hg-git) is a mirror.

In addition, the HG repo is up to release 0.3.2 (made about 5 months ago: 27-Jan-2012), but the 0.3.2 tag is not reflected in the git mirror. (the code is up-to-date: the last change in both repos is about a month ago, so we're just missing a tag).

Could we update the README to reflect the move? (just add a "homepage: http://hg-git.github.com" note). I was surprised to see pip install a newer version than what I saw in this repo, and it took some digging in pypi to discover that the github repo is no longer canonical. Could you also import the 0.3.2 tag to bring this mirror up to date?

hg-git is a wonderful tool. thanks! -Brian

This mirror is not stale anymore.

Could you please send a patch to the readme? I'm not sure what you expect to see beyond what is already there.

@mcepl: this (git) repo doesn't have the 0.3.2 tag, that's what I meant by stale: it has less information than the hg repo on bitbucket (which does have the 0.3.2 tag). I didn't even know there was an 0.3.2 release until I discovered hg.

@durin42: sure thing, I'll file a pull request.
