Hi, I wrote up an evaluation of different Git/Hg bridging methods here: https://github.com/dubiousjim/yagh/blob/master/Evaluation.md.
Hg-git is the best of the engines I looked at. However your documentation is scattered around and seems to be out-of-date in some places. Perhaps the write-up I linked above could be useful when someone gets around to improving the docs.
