Allow for dulwich to not return the magic "capabilities^{}" ref. #293

I hope this is an acceptable way of sending a pull request. This is a minor change to cope with an upcoming change in behaviour in Dulwich. I'll wait a couple of releases before putting it in.

Ordinarily, no, but I was able to 'hg import' the .patch link, and for something like this I'm grateful enough for the heads up that I've done that and will push once my testsuite finishes. Thanks!
