Link display: move to both added link and target quest #150

currently the reference object is part of the static string we generate, which suffers under truncation. We need to refactor so we can preserve the link reference when we display.

Deferring this issue. We will probably be dropping JSTree as we move to Angular or some other front-end framework, so digging in to add 2 links now is not worth the effort.
