Looking at your opt file (PPERSIA.txt), it says that Performance
-> Emulated Performance
is set to "8086/8088, 4.77 MHz from 1980 (315 cps)" and also Performance Scale
at "20%" which should actually make the game run extremely slow.
Have you tried to reset the core options and then restarting the content? It should run fine at its default settings. Are other games running fine for you?
I'll do that test of restoring defaults, but precisely that's the reason I sent this opt file, I expected it to run extremely slow, but it runs extremely fast, as if no change was made.

Can you try another DOS game?
Also can you go into RetroArch's settings to On-Screen Display
-> On-Screen Notifications
-> Notification Visibility
and turn on "Display Statistics" then take a screenshot of the game running with all the statistics visible? That could tell us more.
Yeah, I can do that.

Hi, Default options in both cases. "Prince of Persia" and "Space Quest 1" run too fast, and if I change "Performance options" to 286, it still ignores it. Do you need opt files, or the games themselves so you can check them for yourself? Do you want me to check other Retroarch settings? or try with a completely clean installation?

Hi, been trying to play Prince of Persia, to no avail because it's too fast. I have tried changing many options in "Emulation" and "System" sections of the options, to no avail.
The machine tried has Windows 11 as OS Retroarch version is 1.15.0 Dosbox-Pure version is 0.9.7
I added the opt file (extension renamed to .txt), and the Prince of Persia used.
Also, if this has been addressed in other issue, which issue is?
Thanks in advance
