Hello,
With all these binding options in DosBoxPure and RetroArch I'm getting overwhelmed, maybe someone could give advice how to simplify life. Because while buttons match, character moves on its own.
Game: WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade (DOS)
Core: DosBox Pure
Gamepads: 1st - XboxOne, 2nd - RetroBit 8 button Genesis pad. (Later I disconnected Xbox and left 2nd one, as 6 buttons are needed)
Setup which sort of works.
Ignore LShift/LCtrl mismatches.
This one does work, but ingame character moves automatically to right bottom corner.
Prior DOS game launched, DosBoxPure have their additional options with mapping, but I couldn't figure out how it works.
I'm suspecting Pure thing have analog stick somewhere enabled, and it automatically interferes with input.
Few more questions.
1) When I set these binds, only with [Pad Mapper] Generic Keyboard, wrestlers started to move correctly.
Like if you select Custom Keyboard Bindings for PAD, and set directions. And then assign keys in game settings these do not work. In settings your input is recognized, but during gameplay directions dont work.
Once you are back to Pad Mapper - and use Up (Keyboard Up), Down (Keyboard Down), character moves.
2) [Pad Mapper] Generic Keyboard, why such option has few options to bind.
I have a feel that I'm doing all this wrong way, where all this is long time ago figured out.
