Error when run a 2D model with tidal elevation and velocity ( 23: ABORT: STEP: wetted cross section length on open bnd <=0; boundary ndx= 1 , length= 0.000000000000000E+000) #135

Fatal error:

23: ABORT: STEP: wetted cross section length on open bnd <=0; boundary ndx= 1 , length= 0.000000000000000E+000

I am trying to run a 2D model and met this error. What is the reason for this error?

The open boundary seems to be dry, which is not allowed. You may use volume source instead. See details and other alternative fixes in the manual.

Thanks for your reply. My problem is fixed. I got the plus or minus of the depth value wrong.
