phone Freeze issue #70

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Power ON the phone and let windows OS load.
2. Run Haret.ext from SD card to load android OS
3. Phone gets freeze by displaying a message "Error loading memory booster" on
screen & also sometime displays a message "SD Card removed" on top bar.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Phone should start normally upon running Haret.exe

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
R169, Windows 6.5 professional

Please provide any additional information below.
I recently installed R169 version on my SD card and started using Android on
HTC HD Mini. For 2 days the phone worked perfectly. But suddenly I've started
freezing issue due to above error msgs.

Note : Btw I'm really thankful to all the developers for creating such a
wonderful magic on HTC HD Mini. I was really fed up using Windows OS. Many
thanks again.

Would be happy to provide more information, if required.

Regards,
Abhijeet

you should try not to use memory booster, sd card removed is normal behavior,
i.e. when connected as usb storage

below is my experiences on this r169:
-using kingsmax 8gb class 10
*installed with basic winmo rom with no sense
       *boost memory from htcaddicts
*starts normally, then got system slowness and sleep of death.
-using kingston 2gb class 4
*installed with basic winmo rom with no sense
        *boost memory from htcaddicts
        *everything is running smoothly
i dont hv any idea why all of this r happening. i suppose mayb due to d card
read/rite or smthing. any clue / idea guys?
