You can change links to gitcdn.link for now. That might help.
I'm seeing the same, I have a few browser extensions that rely on https://gitcdn.xyz and my AV is blocking it due to the cert issues.
Sadly, the third party libraries I am using use gitcdn, not any of my code, and I would prefer not to host a forked version.

https://gitcdn.link isn't a forked version I think. It was hosted by @schme16 when .xyz domain went down due to an abuse of service. It was expected to replace the https://gitcdn.xyz as many AVs (then) had blocked the domain and .xyz domain authority received an abuse complaint. You can confidently change the domain.
I understand that gitcdn.link is not a fork, however: the Javascript dependencies I am using have their own dependencies hardcoded into their code, which I am unable to change. It's not a big deal though!
No content from gitcdn is available on my site due to an SSL error, I cannot visit
gitcdn.xyz
either. Please fix!
