MLM: averaging 30 trials in typing task #90

If one uses the average for each of the 30 trials, isn't it still repeated measure? Because it is still 30 measurements in a row, we just eliminated the differences between people?

You explain later that it's just the wrong method for this question, but why would one do it like this in the first place? Is that common practice?
