Thanks for reporting!

Can you try using the latest Version 3.3.0?

Mohmotte commented 12 months ago

I try all older versions

schneidermanuel commented 12 months ago

Ok, I will try to reproduce this behaviour, for now, please uninstall TwitchLeecher manually, then install the latest version from here

Uninstall TwitchLeecher manually doesn't work...

I will adress this issue with the next release.

This is on hold for now. I am working on upgrading this to .net 6.0 and with this change, I will compleatly rewrite the installer and use another library than Wix. I will implement a fix in the new version, but this requires time.

For now, It is required to compleatly remove Twitch Leecher before installing this fork. If uninstalling Twitch Leecher does not work, try upgrading to the newest version of Twitch Leecher first.

Capture d’écran (272) Then I must reclick on the release to uninstall the software because it's not found and reclick on the release to install and now, it's work Thanks

The only reason I would consider an "upgrade" is to migrate my favorite channels.

For anyone with the old TwitchLeecher, you can find your favorite channels, filename template, and other settings in this config file location (open with notepad): %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Twitch Leecher\config.xml

As of Sep 2023, you can copy the entire config file into the new config folder, and DX can use it: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Twitch Leecher DX

But this may change in the future, so if you are reading this in 2024 or beyond, don't do this!

Thank you @schneidermanuel for continuing the project!

Thanks for the information, if some day, the config files differ from dx to the old version, I will implement a method to import your settings from an existing Twitch Leecher configuration!

I mark this as resolved for now. If anyone encouters a simmilar problem, open up a new issue.
