private repositories return a 404 error for the public URL #140

I have a private repository (that I'm not the owner of, in case that makes a difference). When I activate it and try to view the public URL, it just returns a 404 error. Public repositories that I activate pull up an issue page, but the private one doesn't.

Same, looks like the owner must do this

Workaround or this is fixed by having the owner activate, then the contributors can make changes via edit
