When I connect the clock to itself, it works fine and sets a tempo. However, if I unplug 'Clk' from 'ClkIn+MIDI' first, rather than unplugging 'Clk' last, I can't use the 'Tap' button to manually set the tempo. This causes inconsistent behavior where the 'Tap' button doesn't work as it normally would when the clock wasn't connected to itself.
This issue does not occur when using an external clock connected to 'ClkIn+MIDI'. The 'Tap' button can still manually set the tempo after disconnecting the external clock.
A workaround is to briefly connect a cable to 'ClkIn+MIDI' and then disconnect it, which restores the 'Tap' button's normal behavior.
To avoid the issue entirely, unplug the 'Clk' (output) first when removing the self-clocked connection.
The problem seems to occur only when the clock is running at a very high tempo. To reproduce, select a fast tempo file, connect the clock to itself, repeatedly press the 'Mult' button until the 'Clk' LED is almost constantly on, and then disconnect 'ClkIn+MIDI' first.
Tested with a regular TS/eurorack cable in both scenarios.
