I don't have two computers at the same time, however I tried to use croc v10.0.9 in remote server and result with the same error.

hi @azeemh , @tecix

how did you install croc on termux?

I tried to reproduce your errors installing with pkg install croc and I was able to do a send and receive without issues with v10.0.9.

Great, I've just tried to install with pkg install croc and it is working now. So I guess installing in Termux using this command was the problem: curl https://getcroc.schollz.com | bash

Installed on my personal linux tower and iSH on iphone as well as in termux on a galaxy s9 and used a known working EC2 install that used to work all the time prior.

Ubuntu in aws ec2 to my desktop linux ubuntu at home fails. so both desktop amd64 systems failed and i ended up installing magic wormhole.

something is interfering with the relays.

it also doesnt work on ish even though it installs via the curl command.

yet i had used this countless times before.

magic wormhole works in termux but cryptography doesnt build on iSH, so i would prefer if croc worked.

since magic wormhole worked and croc didnt i can rule out interference or connectivity issues on my end.

i believe it's something with the relay.

i love croc it's a handy piece of software and it's helped me countless times. I hope you find a fix.

@azeemh does it work when hosting your own relay?

azeemh commented 2 months ago

sorry, my usage never got that advanced, i've never setup / hosted a different relay, so i can only believe that such may be the error, as i dont know how to host a relay and test it.

@azeemh this seems like it might be a separate issue, please make another issue with your logs
