Bacon #6

The Eggs benedict recipe has instructions for taking a cow and obtaining milk but not for how to take a pig and obtain bacon.

Could be useful for other recipies which have pork derivatives in them.

The bacon costs $0.00 and can't be expanded like the other items.

Isn't bacon typically smoked using some sort of cure mixture or brine (Step 3 here)? I'm sure you can break those down somehow.
