Animdessin2 stopped working in photoshop, tried to redownload and now every extension I try is broken #5

Hello Rombout, I hope have a second to see this message.

I'm an animator working on my thesis film in my final year of college. I'm midway through production and things are going well. Suddenly today I opened Photoshop on one of my files and it said: "Animdessin2 could not be properly assigned". I've been using this extension for four years now, it made animation such a joy to work on in Photoshop, which I thank you for. But now I've gone through every possible resource I can imagine to try and fix this but nothing works.

I'm in a spot where the extension manager says every download for Animdessin2 and Animcolour2 is broken and must be re-downloaded. No amount of re-downloading has helped. I'm using the most recently updated version of Photoshop at the moment, is that the mistake? Should I find a way back to old Photoshop?

I know nothing about coding, I've always been awful at math so I'm entirely lost. I made a GitHub account just to message you.

Thank you for creating this amazing program and please help.

Which version do you actually have installed. My version is not that old. Have you installed the version through Stephane's methods or the manual method?

An fix for the "not signed properly" is to add developer mode, you can read this issue report about how to solve it.

Hope you see this comment in time and be able to finish your thesis

I jsut looked up some info about the singing and found that they typically are valid for 4 years. That would make sense why yours suddenly stopped working. You could try to install Stephane's version again and see what happens. Screen Shot 2022-11-10 at 11 48 11

Thank you so much! I was able to get it fixed I've used it for all my animated projects. It is a magical extension, I will be getting the update asap.

Did you use my version or the one from Stephane?

I'm no animator myself and wonder if all my additions to the extension actually help
