GetShapeArea-dialog.jsx crashes Illustrator. Please help. #3

Hi, I'm getting an Error 25 when I try to execute this wonderfully useful script in both Illustrator 2022 and 2023 on MacOS. Illustrator crashes. then I need to force quit.

I followed these instructions for placing the script file: Save this file with a jsx extension and place in your // Illustrator/Presets/en_US/Scripts folder. You can then access it from the File > Scripts menu

Are you using LAscript perhaps?
