Fix twitching in animations #434

Something done very recently in the code has caused all of the animations in AnimationBreeder and 3DObjectBreeder to twitch repeatedly. I'm not sure what could have caused this, but I need to retrace what I've done in the code to try to fix the problem.

Simply reverting the problematic commits solved this, though left some other problems unsolved.
