Add autostart of devilspie #11

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Request for enhancement:
gdevilspie should have the ability to create a
~/.config/autostart/devilspie.desktop file to automatically start devilspie
on login.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Installation and use of devilspie and gdevilspie can be confusing, as after
properly configuring and testing an action, it does not work after
logoff/login.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gdevilspie-0.31-5.fc12.noarch on Fedora 12

Please provide any additional information below.
Most applications of this type provide a checkbox to enable/disable
autostarting the function. For consistency, this is probably the best way
to handle it.

First trial at xdg handling of autostart added to svn. needs python-xdg

I'd appreciate if you tested it. Thanks :)

Tested svn version in Fedora 13 with pyxdg-0.17-1 and no problems encountered.
The startup application is added/enabled/disabled successfully. Thanks!
