A Language Translation Bug in a Chinese Environment #1731

General information

  1. Android Version : Android 14
  2. Android Vendor/Custom ROM: OnePlus ColorOS 14.0
  3. Device: OnePlus Ace
  4. Version of the app (version number/play store version/self-built) : OpenVPN for Android 0.7.51

Description of the issue

At default , app uses the Chinese Language under the Chinese Environment. After a few operation steps, the language automatically switches to English unexpectedly.

How to reproduce

  1. import the .ovpn file
  2. modify the imported properties
    • check the option "Override DNS Settings by Server"
    • input the DNS Server as "192.168.10.181"
    • clear the "Backup DNS Server"
  3. ** click the property and try to connect
  4. ** click the other area without a password ( Connection need a password) Then , OpenVPN will try to connect without a password , the app gets blocked.
  5. ** Shutdown app
  6. Reopen the app , the language automatically switches to English.
