Conductance protocol needs improvement #4

The conductance protocol file I started last Fall has not been edited by anyone else as far as I can see. I'll assign @tailorbrown to this enhancement, but @jwillms should also pitch in.

So I think that @tailorbrown 's merge #5 and e46d72d address some of this, but I think there are still a lot of gaps. @jwillms and @tailorbrown keep adding when you can. Josh, you said you made some video? Can you make sure I get a copy on pearse? Don't put it in the rep, but we could put a link in the protocol.

Major improvement with recent additions, eg 6a43212b8bc3f130013be01e1bdb9a17af869aa2 and d3a0603f26f0466bab052ab0d42dfc94386cf6c9.

Closing for now. I can open specific issues for anything missing
