When loading any dataset in https://nsdf01.classe.cornell.edu/dashboards/app/v2?group=nsdf-group, the initial ranges of X and Y are appropriate for the dataset, but only for an instant. With range set to "dynamic", the X and Y ranges automatically widen iteratively and indefinitely so that the plot seems to be zooming out from the loaded dataset. The automatic range widening stops when I click "Play", and continues when I click "Stop". If I change the range from "dynamic" to "user", the range stays fixed even when I click "Stop"/"Play".
