Which linux distribution are you using?
I'm using the current Mint Linux:
lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: LinuxMint
Description: Linux Mint 18.1 Serena
Release: 18.1
Codename: serena
uname -a
Linux matthias-X1 4.4.0-78-generic #99-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 27 15:29:09 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
> $ python --version
Python 2.7.12
aptitude show python-gr
Paket: python-gr
Neu: ja
Zustand: Installiert
Automatisch installiert: nein
Version: 0.24.0-0
Unfortunately, we don't have any Mint system here to reproduce the problem. As your OS is derived from Ubuntu, I'd suggest to install from source - if possible:
git clone https://github.com/jheinen/gr
cd gr
make install; make clean
The following pre-installation steps may be required for a GR framework software installation on Mint:
apt-get install libx11-dev libxft-dev libxt-dev python2.7-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libgs-dev texlive-latex3 dvipng qt4-dev-tools libgtk2.0-dev pyqt4-dev-tools libwxgtk2.8-dev python-wxgtk2.8 libzmq3-dev python-pyaudio python-opengl cmake
This list is guessed and may vary ... (version numbers, etc.)
We are closing this issue due to inactivity. Please reopen the issue and let us know if its cause still persists with the current version of GR.
For a lot of the examples I get the error: corrupted double-linked list After running it two or three times. This is what I get for pendulum3.py (http://gr-framework.org/examples/pendulum3.html)
