@lwjohnst86 As discussed on Friday, I have been looking into this. I have not written any code yet, but I have put together a provisional list:

Open surgery/"open" and "surgery" separated by only 2-3 words
"Open" and words ending in "ectomy" separated by only 2-3 words
Opening (with no other mention of "open")
Open-label/open label/"open" and "trial" separated by only 1-3 words (particularly necessary for PubMed, wherein 240 out of 947 records were randomized control trials)
Open government/open governance
Open-angle glaucoma
Open dialogue
Open-circuit/open circuit
Open-ended
Open fracture
Open issues
Open-shell
Open letter
Open abdomen
Open spaces
Open wound
Open call
Open water
Open university/open universities
