Just installed on Joomla 2.5.16 with Civi 4.4.1, and as of right now, most everything with regular group syncing works. I have not tried smart groups.
The one issue I have found is that the syncing from mailchimp back to civi does not seem to work. If I change a users last name in mailchimp, it does not automatically update, nor does running a sync update it. Would love to get this worked out.
Also, just want to say that I LOVE this extension and our organization would be interested in supporting it (with what we can afford, which is not much unfortunately) in order to add more functionality.
