Clean-up the URL by deleting "concern/generic_works" from the string. One suggestion would be to change https://digital.chemheritage.org/concern/generic_works/7w62f9133 to https://digital.chemheritage.org/7w62f9133.

URL for collections appear okay to me.

Sounds like this is an issue that others in the Samvera community have also commented on, so it could be good to see how/if anyone else has tackled this.

[x] need to do it for /parent too
[x] need to keep from breaking urls to patch/post/delete
[x] test to see if our weird route intervention works on rails 5.2 too

It's prob going to need to have something in the path in between the host and the ID, to let us know it's a work ID. https://digital.chemheritage.org/works/7w62f9133 or something.

There's no way to do this supported by sufia (or hyrax so far as i know). But I can look into figuring out how to hack it, it's always possible somehow.

I assume you are intentionally putting this at higher priority than everything below it.
