Which products are affected?
Google Earth
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load the kml file attached.
2. View the elevation profile of the track object.
3. Kablooie (that is the sound of GE crashing)
What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
According to the KML docs on <track> you can sparsely declare data inside a
gx:track. It is documented that this includes ExtendedData. It says it will
interpolate across them empty entries, but that is not what we ware seeing.
Instead an empty <gx:value/> causes GE to crash when the Elevation Profile is
viewed.
What application versions (if any) are you using?
Google Earth (version 5.2.1.1588 and 6.0.0.1735)
Which operating systems (and/or relevant web browsers) are affected?
Windows 7 64 bit.
