Notes:

• I suggest stating that we plan to fund Outreachy interns next year also, so they might want to keep an eye out for that if they missed out this year
• image.sc is 99% biologists because of its origin, but it is intended to be generalist. (Same as napari, coincidentally 😅) Not sure what the intent of the text on the slide is, but I would aim to phrase it so that the above is clear.
• personally, I dislike text-only presentations — especially when that text isn't code! I suggest sprinkling in e.g. images to illustrate thin plate splines and our biology-focused docs, for example. And a photo of the Scientific Python meeting at SciPy 2022, as another example.

btw there was talk of getting a t-shirt even though I wasn't able to make it???? 😂
