pydata-sphinx-theme issue backlog #10

Open drammock opened 6 months ago

drammock commented 6 months ago

In addition to the two big issues from Pydata Sphinx Theme (https://github.com/pydata/pydata-sphinx-theme/issues/1643 and https://github.com/pydata/pydata-sphinx-theme/issues/229) that are already on the Summit Project Board, there is a backlog of issues and feature requests that might be "good first issues" for folks of your caliber. Here's a medium-sized list to choose from, so you don't have to browse all open issues on the theme's repo:

easy?

medium?

hard?

cc @trallard and @gabalafou just so you know this will be happening. The summit is 3-5 June.

@drammock, thanks for the heads up. I had looked some weeks ago with Tania at the summit on 3-5 June, but as I'm in Europe at that time, Seattle looks really far away. I'll give it another think, but I'm probably a no for traveling there.

But I'll take a look at the issues and cross check what I know with what's been put down :)

Great, thanks @gabalafou. Was mostly meant a "heads up there may be a flurry of PRs coming from names you may not recongize on those days" but it sounds like it was already on your radar. If you're available that week for (asynchronous) PR reviews that would be great; regardless, feel free to add any guidance/context you want to the issues I've linked, or to add additional issues you'd like to see tackled that week.
