Set default thumbnails to pull from first page of multipage work #182

We rely on system-generated thumbnails for all newly-imported works, and we'd like those thumbnails to show the first page of multipage works. For example, if a work contains a 5 page PDF, page 1 would be the thumbnail. Right now the system appears to select a page of the PDF at random or from the end of the file, which leads to situations where the representative image for a work is confusing and lacks context. See example screenshots below of books in the catalog search that show the final page of the PDF as the thumbnail.

Please note that several of the works linked above won't open until scientist-softserv/adventist_knapsack#521 is resolved. I got link number 4 (Cardinal | 1933) to open briefly, and I attempted to change the thumbnail manually.
