One of the IRs in our consortium has started uploading files to the repo. But the works with files attached aren't generating thumbnails. Since the core ADL sites (ADL & SDAPI) have always generated thumbnails automatically, I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's due to the servers being very busy with ADL's import or if there is a feature flipper I don't know about. Can you advise me what to expect here?

NOTES
For extra context:
The team expects the pdfs to split and derivatives to run regardless if PDF.js is on or off. (despite what the flipper's help text says)
In other projects, PDF.js ON means pdf imports won't split but that was not hooked up for ADL.
