Improve search snippets to show context #331

For works where the search snippet feature is operating correctly, we do see a highlighted keyword preview in the catalog search results. However, the snippet is so short that we do not see the word in context, which is the best use of the snippet feature. Can we please increase the number of characters that are shown in the snippet? We'd like something similar to the number of characters in a preview on Google, to match user expectations.

In further testing, I see that some results show with more context around the snippets. Maybe this one example was an anomaly? I'm moving this ticket to low priority until I know more. Thanks!
