Cannot assign collections as subcollections #403

I currently cannot assign collections as subcollections. If I go through the dashboard and attempt to add a collection to another one as a subcollection, the dialogue box freezes for a few minutes and then generates a 504 error. From within the "parent" collection, I cannot bring another collection in as a subcollection. The dialogue box also freezes and generates an error.

Update as of 5-4-2023: I am not seeing this bug today on production. I was able to add collections as subcollections from the dashboard view.

The bug is present on production again today (6/21/23). I'm seeing a different error message, and I can't add a collection as a subcollection from any part of the UI.
