Users testing our digital library site are experiencing slow load times and incomplete rendering of images in the UV. If possible, we need to deliver images in a couple seconds at most, and all images in the viewer should load consistently and fully in focus at all stages of zoom. This functionality should work on any standard internet connection and should not require the fastest possible access.
Users testing our digital library site are experiencing slow load times and incomplete rendering of images in the UV. If possible, we need to deliver images in a couple seconds at most, and all images in the viewer should load consistently and fully in focus at all stages of zoom. This functionality should work on any standard internet connection and should not require the fastest possible access.
In my testing, pages take anywhere from 5 to more than 60 seconds to load. When they appear in the viewer, portions of the page stay out of focus and do not completely render. See screenshots below.
