SPIKE: Internet Archive audio collection - can uv play audio instead of linking out #165

We have a library with this audio collection on IA https://archive.org/details/podcast_catholic-theological-union-p_conversations-we-must-have_1000414816510

I tried importing it on the staging site to see what would happen. It does not get the audio file.

Ideally it would be great if it could have the audio file playing in the UV.

I tried this again with the new staging site and still did not get thumbs The pattern is https://archive.org/services/img/<%= identifier.split(':').last %> Here is an example identifier - http://archive.org/details/podcast_catholic-theological-union-p_conversations-we-must-have_1000414816510 and its thumbnail is here- https://archive.org/services/img/podcast_catholic-theological-union-p_conversations-we-must-have_1000414816510 This should work shouldn't it?

Thumbnails are working after some fix. THe idea of importing the audio via the IA manifest is the question that remains

These 2 IA collections are not using the UV - after looking through all the others that are imported IA collections, these are the only 2 not working and these are audio.

The two audio collections coming from IA:

Imports with audio files need to play audio in the UV. this may be related to the collections or it may be broken for all collections

These audio files are listed as stream only in Internet Archive. There is an option to embed an iframe, but there is no IIIF manifest available.

Uploading mp3 files will play in the UV if you have the use IIIF button checked.

I tried importing from an IA collection with video that is not stream only and it did not bring in the video in the UV. https://archive.org/details/electricsheep-flock-248-7500-5

if this is somehow an easy thing to make happen that would be great, otherwise we can wait till it comes again in the future
