CrossRef have announced plans to deprecate their Funder Registry.
The "Add a Work" UI uses this registry to lookup and validate funder details.
I wonder if this might also impact the recent plan S development #375 which uses the Sherpa API but may rely on the CrossRef Funder Registry ID?
This is not an immediate problem, but flagging this now so that we can prepare for this change.
