Items are loading really slow in the UV. Items with under 3 pages or less need a reasonable load time. LV is using local storage so is not able to use lambda iiif. And Lousiville would like some sort of loading message on larger files if things will be loading slowly.
The work on this ticket is to plan what the work needs to be to improve loading speeds.
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] Initial research has been done and tickets have been created for work to speed up loading in the UV.

Default size of thumbnails was really high so this was adjusted down.
If the UV could display a message about loading images on
File storage is local. (not s3)
3 images is the cutoff line for reasonable loading speeds.
